Due to the high volume of prescriptions and prescription refills handled
by this office, the following policies are necessary.
Please have your pharmacy fax refill requests to 214-618-8226.
- This office requires 48 hours for 30 day prescription refills.
- Requests for refills can also be left on the Nurse Line - extension
113. Requests left here will be filled within our 48 hour window.
- No return calls will be made to parents regarding refills. Contact your
pharmacy after 48 hours.
90 Day Prescriptions
- All 90 day prescriptions will be either given to parents at the visit
or mailed to parents home address.
- This office requires 1 week for 90 day prescription refills.
- It is the parent's responsibility to forward 90 day prescriptions to
mail order pharmacy via mail or other method.
- KidLungs will not communicate directly with mail order pharmacy.
Refills will be denied of patient is not current with follow-up appointments.
Please request refills in time for them to be received from your local pharmacy
or mail order pharmacy to avoid a lapse in your treatment plan.
Refills are not considered an emergency. Please do not page the physician
after hours for prescription refills. This will results in a charge to your
account.
